The Diocese of Rome has opened an official web site dedicated to the beatification of Pope John Paul II, which will take place on 1 May 2011.
The portal (www.Karol-Wojtyla.org), which “speaks” six languages-Italian, Spanish, French, English, Polish and Romanian-offers a wealth of information about the Holy Father, his beatification process and the ceremonies and events connected to it.
It also contains information concerning initiatives taking place or being planned in various parts of the world to celebrate this event, as well as the official prayer asking the future Blessed’s intercession for graces.
